I am in love with this adorable Daisy Earth Day Craft! The daisy “petals” are created using cupcake liners. Add some straws, construction paper and the printable templates to recreate this fun Earth Day activity.
Daisy Earth Day Craft with Printable Templates
To recreate this Daisy Craft you will need:
Crayons or Markers
Using green cardstock, cut out the leaves for your flowers.
Grab the printable template found at the end of this page. After printing out your Earth template, use markers or crayons to color them green and blue. When you are done coloring, cut out your Earth images.
To create the daisy, flatten a cupcake liner and fold it in half. Fold the cupcake liner three more times as shown in the photo.
Cut the top of the folded liners into a round shape to mirror the ones in the photo.
Unfold the cupcake liner to finish the first layer of your flower. You’ll need to do this three times, making three layers for each flower.
After your petals are complete, it’s time to start assembling your flowers! Glue the cupcake liners together and then glue the Earth into the center of each flower. Glue a paper straw onto blue cardstock and the flower onto the paper straw. Finally, glue leaves onto the cardstock, right against the paper straw.
Your Earth Day craft is finished! This is an easy and inexpensive craft that’s perfect for the classroom too.
