We’re winding down our Christmas craft series with the last two accordion crafts. And excluding Santa, these last two are definitely my favorites. First up, a Christmas Tree Accordion Craft complete with Christmas bulbs!
Christmas Tree Accordion Craft
Get started on this post by grabbing a few simple supplies and the free printable template found at the end of this post.
Cardstock or Construction Paper
After downloading the template, follow the instructions listed at the top of each page to print it out. If you prefer, you can print out the template on white cardstock and color in your tree and ornaments. Or just print the ornaments out on white cardstock and color them in. The possibilities are endless!
After printing everything out, carefully cut out your pieces.
With everything cut out, begin assembling your Christmas tree. Glue the star onto the top and add in the Christmas ornaments, being sure to leave room for his face.
If you want you can add in grey construction paper to finish off the top of your Christmas bulbs or color it in with markers or crayons.
After you’ve glued everything together, use the marker and crayon to finish his face.
Set your tree aside and allow him to dry for a little bit. In the meantime, you’ll need to cut four 2 inch wide strips of paper. Fold them back and forth to create an accordion fold out of each strip.
After folding each strip, glue them to the back of your tree to create two arms and two legs on your Christmas tree.
After that’s finished drying, you’re done! You’re Christmas tree is ready to be hung and put on display. Add him to the rest of our Christmas accordion characters for a whole family of Christmas fun!
