Countdown to Christmas (2 Versions!)

Countdown to Christmas is an exciting tradition that adds a sprinkle of anticipation and joy to the holiday season. As the days draw nearer to December 25th, children and adults alike eagerly await the festivities. To enhance this experience, we’re delighted to share not just one, but two charming Countdown to Christmas printables with you. With minimal preparation required, these delightful creations are sure to captivate the hearts of your little ones.

Countdown to Christmas (2 Versions!)

To embark on this creative journey, you’ll need the free printables, which can be found at the end of this post. Additionally, gather Christmas-themed scrapbook paper, a couple of clothespins, and adhesive materials such as craft glue, glue dots, or double-sided tape. For an extra touch, consider incorporating a frame (without the glass) and other decorative elements like Christmas bows, ribbons, and small ornaments.

Begin by accessing the download link below and choosing between the two countdown versions: the charming Christmas lights edition or the playful Elf version. Once you’ve made your choice, proceed to print a copy of your selected countdown.

If available, opt for white cardstock or heavy weight paper  for printing. While not mandatory, this choice will add durability to your final product. After printing your countdown and the corresponding numbers, delicately cut out each circle number, ensuring their safe placement.

Now, affix your countdown page onto the chosen scrapbook paper, adjusting the size if necessary. Glue the clothespins in their designated spots. Allow sufficient time for everything to dry, and voila – your Countdown to Christmas is complete!

Feel free to embrace the simplicity of the design or take it up a notch by adding a frame and any embellishments that speak to your festive spirit.

These are both so cute!! I can't wait to work on both this weekend! I am the librarian at a middle school, and I'm going to do one as a countdown to Christmas Break and the other to Christmas. Many of my students are going to love this!!
