Now, here’s the best part about this card—it’s a double whammy of love for Dad! When you open it up, the pizza magically unfolds to reveal the message “I love you to pizzas.” How cool is that? But wait, there’s more! The “DAD” part also opens up, giving you a blank canvas to write your own personal message to your old man. CREATE YOUR FATHER’S DAY CARD

- Printable template (found at the end of this post)
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Colored pencils
- Black marker
- Glue stick
- Google eyes
Print the template out using the white cardstock or heavy weight paper. Then color in the Ds on your template, using any colors or patterns you like.
Next, fold the DAD template so that it forms a card which opens up at the bottom of the words DAD. Make a good crease and cut along the border being sure to keep the top of the Ds and triangle shape folded, as shown below.
Next color the pizza template with the colored pencils. Again, you can go with traditional pizza colors here or go crazy with it!
Cut out the pizza and the hourglass shaped greeting piece.
Take the hourglass shaped greeting and fold over the top so it forms a single triangle. Glue the pizza on the top of the greeting triangle.
To complete the pizza, add some google eyes and a silly smile. Of course, this is optional, but it adds a fun touch!
To finish the card, glue your pizza piece to the DAD card where the A is supposed to be.
Finally, open the DAD piece and write in a personal greeting, as shown in our video below.
After writing in your personal message to Dad, your card is finally finished!
