Dr. Seuss DIY Shirt and Art Printable
My son’s school is celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday with fun, themed days all week, such as Fox in Socks – Silly Sock Day. Unlike my older boys, he still enjoys going all out for these crazy dress-up days! Today he went to school with Whoville red hair and later today I’ll make him some socks to wear for tomorrow’s silly sock day. Over the weekend, however, he helped me whip up this Dr. Seuss printable. He loved picking out the colors and characters for his own shirt.
We picked up a packet of T-Shirt Transfer paper and a $2 T-shirt from Walmart. If you’re going to recreate this shirt, don’t forget to use the mirror option on your printer settings. Each printer is different, but I found the mirror option under “Properties” and then “More Options.”
After you’ve mirrored and printed the image onto your T-Shirt Transfer Paper, trim around the design. Following the instructions found in the transfer paper package, iron your design onto your shirt. It’s that simple!
