This printable set comes with two pages and can be printed on regular 8.5 x 11″ printer paper.
The first page is our Earth Day Word Search. This is a great activity to do alone. However, you can also print out a couple of copies, grab some friends or siblings, and race to see who can find the words first.
I had to make this word search puzzle twice because I missed a couple of letters on the first one. Thankfully I caught it in time! However, I wanted to double check this one, but also had some housework that needed to get done. I asked my 14-year-old son to help me out and finish the puzzle for me. Next thing I know, I’ve got three teenagers (ages 14, 15 and 16) huddled around the coffee table, trying to find all the words. They especially had fun finding hidden, random words that weren’t intentional! So this really is a fun activity for a variety of ages.
The second page is this Earth Day themed coloring page!
Grab your favorite crayons, colored pencils, etc. and get creative with it! I do recommend printing this page out onto white cardstock if you’re planning on using markers though. It’ll hold up a little better and prevent bleed-through from the markers onto your table.
The best thing about these printables is that there is no prep work. Simply print and hand them to your kids!
