Is your community participating in an Easter Egg Road Hunt? We recently received a reader request for some LARGER, THICKER lined Easter Eggs that can easily be seen from the road. What a great idea!
With many Easter Egg Hunts being cancelled due to Covid-19, someone came up with the idea to do an Easter Egg Road Hunt. The thought being that you hide an Easter egg or more in your window and people drive around the neighborhood looking for eggs.
I’ve seen a few friends share this fun idea and a few already have their Easter Eggs up on display! I’ve been meaning to make Easter Eggs with the kids so that we can participate. There are so many unique ideas on Pinterest and we really want to try some of them out!
Recently though, a reader reached out to ask if we had any LARGE, THICK-LINED Easter Eggs she could print out for her Grandkids. She had made a few eggs to hang from her window, but the kids were unable to see them from the road. And of course, we thought this was a great idea! So we create four different patterns of full-sized Easter Eggs to print, cut and color.
You can use regular printer paper for these, but if you want them to be a little more heavy-duty I recommend using white cardstock.
After printing out the free template, grab your markers, oil pastels, crayons, etc and start coloring them in.
Alternatively, you can upload the image into a photo editing program and virtually color them in before printing.
After your eggs are colored as you want them, carefully cut them out before decorating your windows or home.
