Ya’ll, I am seriously in love with this printable Frog Hop Maze set! My daughter has been learning her beginning addition problems and skip counting, so this set is a great addition to what her teacher is already teaching her. This Frog Hop Maze Early Math Games set comes with 6 printables, one of which allows you to create your own maze!
Frog Hop Maze Early Math Games
These pages print on regular 8.5 x 11″ printer paper and, excluding the DIY maze, require no prep. Simply print and go!
The first couple of pages help with Odd and Even number recognition.
Help the frog swim to the lily pad by coloring only the bubbles with ODD (or Even) numbers inside. You can color the bubbles in with crayons, colored pencils or use these awesome Dab and Dot markers.
Of course, if your little one prefers, they can also simply draw a line through the maze. By the way, you’ve probably seen these Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils in a lot of my posts. I absolutely love them and the fact that there’s no sharpening required. I bought mine at Walmart, but just picked up a set from Amazon for my son.
But back to the printables! The second couple of pages included in this printable focuses on early addition exercises.
For these pages, kids will help the frog get to the lily pad by finding bubbles that add up to 5 or 10.
This is great practice for those who are learning how to add numbers up to 5 and 10 and my daughter had a lot of fun with these.
The final two pages include an answer key and this blank maze.
There are so MANY ways you can use this blank maze! Practice the alphabet by finding the letters in their correct order, multiplication tables for older kids, skip counting, etc.
My daughter is working on skip counting, so that’s what I plan on doing with this one. However, I’m definitely keeping extra copies on hand for additional mazes!
