Also, if you’re looking for some new games for family game night, check out Junior Alias! We were given their Junior Alias game to review and the boys couldn’t wait to test it out!
The game is designed for 4 or more players, ages 5 and up. Players break into teams and each team tries to guess as many words as possible before the sand timer runs out. Your team earns points for each correctly guessed word and those points move your game piece forward on the game board. The first team to reach the finish line wins!
We all had a lot of fun with this game and immediately started a new round after the first game was won. I love that this game promotes imagination and teaches the kids how to use expressive communication and problem solving skills! Plus, it’s just plain fun! A few rounds were lost simply because the kids were laughing too hard to move on to another card. Though, admittedly, they were all a bit confused by the “dummy” card, which we now know is the Britain word for pacifier!
The colorful picture cards make it easy for younger players to join in, making Alias a fun and easy game to play with the whole family!
Disclosure: While we received this product in exchange for an honest review all opinions are our own. The kids have claimed this one a winner and can’t wait until our next game night!
