I love all of our accordion characters, but we had a lot of fun with these two. And you can completely customize them! Change the color of their outfits, their shoes, their skin and hair color – anything you want!

BOY Ice Skater

Let’s start with our boy ice skater. The supplies for this boy and girl are the same as they were for the other accordion characters. So start by gathering up these few supplies:

Cardstock or Construction Paper (we used grey, green, yellow, tan, black, orange, and a couple shades of blue)
Scissors
Glue
Pink Crayon
Black Marker
Printable Template (found below)

Find the printable template below and print the template pages out on construction paper. Alternatively, you can print everything out on white construction paper and color in your skater boy. After printing everything out, carefully cut out each piece.

Grab your glue and begin assembling your ice skater. Glue the head to the body and position his scarf on. Then add his hair and the assembled hat. Finally, glue his coat buttons in place.

Using your black marker and pink crayon, give your ice skater a face.

While that’s drying, cut out four strips of 2 inch wide paper. Fold each piece back and forth creating an accordion fold as shown.

Glue your accordion folds to the back of your ice skater, creating two arms and two legs. Allow to dry and your Ice Skater Boy is complete!

Cardstock or Construction Paper (we used grey, green, yellow, purple, pink, tan, and black)
Scissors
Glue
Pink Crayon
Black Marker
Printable Template (found below)

After printing out your template, using the instructions at the top of each page, carefully cut out each piece. As with the other characters, you could print everything out on white construction paper and use markers or crayons to add color to your ice skater.

After everything is printed, carefully cut out each piece.

Grab the glue and begin to assemble your character. Add the scarf pieces to the top of the large body section. Then add on the hair and head. Glue the assembled hat on top and finish with the coat buttons, as shown below.

Using your marker and crayon, give your ice skater a face.

Set your ice skater aside and cut out four 2 inch strips of paper. Fold each strip back and forth, creating an accordion fold.

Grab your ice skater and glue each strip of folded paper to the back, creating two legs and two arms.
