Isaiah 9:6 DIY Christmas Gift Printable
This nativity printable looks great framed, but I decided to mount it to a scrap piece of wood we had laying around. If you don’t have any scrap wood, check out the scrap bin at Home Depot. We’ve found some great deals there!
After cutting down my board to the size I wanted, I stained it using some Minwax stain that was left behind when we bought our house. Alternatively, you can leave the wood bare or paint it any color you want.
I’ve recently fallen in love with wood stain. If you haven’t used it yet, this is the perfect project to try your hand at wood staining. With a glove on, I take an old rag, dip it into the stain, rub on the wood and rub off any access. It’s much easier than I expected!
After staining the wood, I used Mod Podge to glue and protect the printable. Simply paint on a thin layer of Mod Podge, lay down your printable and add another layer of Mod Podge on top.
It looks great, doesn’t it?! To make your own grab the freebie below and print on white cardstock or heavy-weighted paper.

Thank you!! I need last minute gifts for my church group. I framed six of these and used the Modgepodge on another one for my mom. They look great!
