Valentine’s Day will be here soon! And we’ve been busy putting together a cute Owl Valentine’s Day Banner to display in our living room, along with the rest of our Valentine’s Day decor. And of course, we are sharing the free printable so you can make one of your own!
Owl Valentine’s Day Banner Free Printable
To be honest, I’m not a big fan of bright red and pink decorations. I do love Valentine’s day, though, so I wanted to make a banner using a softer red color. And, because I love owls so much, I added a few of those too.
Of course, if you’re not an owl fan, you can choose to leave them out and only use the hearts and Xs and Os. Or simply use the Xs and Os alone. Whatever works best with your decor and needs!
This Valentine’s Day banner is easy to recreate using the free printable template, some heavy weighted paper or white cardstock, a hole punch, and something to string your squares onto.
Simply click and open the file below to print your banner pieces onto your heavy weight paper.
Print however many copies of the page you want or need. I decided on four copies to give my banner the length I wanted for my mantel. However, you can choose to make yours smaller or larger, based on your needs.
After you have everything printed, cut out each of the squares and use a hole punch to punch holes in the top right and left corners of each one.
When you are done, begin threading each square onto your twine to create your banner. I used “Natural Polished Hemp” twine that I picked up at our local Walmart, but you can use whatever you have on hand, including ribbon or yarn.
After you’ve threaded all of your squares, simply hang your banner and enjoy! (As you can see, my daughter’s current obsession is Dora the Explorer.)
