We’ve been asked to share a few more St. Patrick’s Day Crafts and this St Patrick’s Pot of Gold Craft is so cute! The gold coins all come together to complete a St. Patrick’s quote, “Christ beside me, before me, behind me, within me, above me.”
Saint Patrick’s Pot of Gold Craft
This is such a fun craft to hang up and display for St. Patrick’s Day. Or create one or two to hand out as gifts to loved ones. You could even include a bag of chocolate coins for good luck!
To create this Pot of Gold, you’ll need a few simple supplies:
- Printable Template (found at the end of this post)
- Cardstock: black, yellow, and white
- Scissors
- Marker: green and yellow
- Glue stick
After printing out your template onto white construction paper, carefully cut out all of the pieces. Take the oblong oval and long strip pieces and trace them onto the black paper. Cut those out.
Glue the long black strip to the top of the oval to complete the pot.
Next, color the circles and the shamrock. If you prefer, you can also reprint the template again onto the yellow cardstock instead of coloring the coins in. Then cut out the coins and shamrock.
Glue the shamrock to the center of the pot.
Now glue three coins on the back of the pot sticking up so you can read the words, as shown below.
Then stack two more coins on top of those, gluing at the edges.
Finally, top the coin stack with the “Christ” coin.
Allow everything to dry and you’re all done!
