We’ve got a couple of Star Wars projects coming up for those of you who have requested more of them or who simply love Star Wars as much as we do! This Star Wars C-3PO Line Study Art Project is one of such projects and it’s a great way to incorporate a little art study into your life.
Star Wars C-3PO Line Study Art
Back when we shared the Halloween Line Study Art Projects, we were asked what the importance of a line study is. If you’ve been interested in teaching your child or student about art, the LINE is one of the most important Elements of Art. Lines are used to create shape, texture, space, pattern, depth, and movement. And the best thing about a line study project is letting your child or student get creative with it! It’s always fun to see what they create with these simple line study art projects.
To get started on this art project, you’ll need to gather up the following supplies, as well as the printable template found at the end of this post.
Colored Pencils or Markers
Fine Tip Marker or Pen
Download and print out the CP30 line study found below. We recommend printing it out onto cardstock or heavy weight paper.
Draw lines or line patterns in each area, working on one area at a time. Continue drawing lines or line patterns until each area is filled in. Change up the pattern or direction of your lines in each section. Get creative with it! You can add lines into the eye areas if you want, but we chose to leave them as is.
When you’re happy with your lines, begin coloring in your CP30 with crayons, colored pencils or markers.
Once finished, trim off the excess white border and glue your finished project onto a sheet of colored cardstock to give it a border and make it pop. Experiment using different patterns and colors!
Allow to dry and you’re finished! This is a fun art project for any Star Wars fan or for anyone wanting to experiment with line studies.
