For those of you who haven’t done a torn paper craft before, it’s an extremely simple and fun craft for kids of many ages.
To get started, you’ll need cardstock, glue, scissors and the printable template.
Grab the free printable template from the button at the end of this post and print the first two pages out onto white cardstock or heavy weight paper. Print the third page out onto a medium yellow cardstock.
After printing out your template begin tearing apart pieces of your colored cardstock and gluing them in place, where you want each color to be. We used yellow and gold colored paper, but you can use any colors you want and get super creative with it.
Continue gluing on your torn paper until your happy with each template piece.
When you’re happy with your template pieces, allow everything to fully dry before carefully cutting out each piece.
After cutting out your template pieces, begin assembling your Cp3O character by gluing together each of his parts onto your background piece. We used black construction paper, but you can use anything you have on hand.
Once again, allow everything to dry. After drying completely, your CP3O is complete!
