Here’s another fun Star Wars art project for the kiddos (or even adults) to work on, so if you’re a Star Wars fan grab this Star Wars R2D2 Sugar Skull printable! Use it as a coloring page or get a little extra creative with it by gluing it onto colored cardstock for a matted art print look.
Star Wars R2D2 Sugar Skull Printable
To recreate this Star Wars Sugar Skull, you’ll need cardstock (white cardstock to print your template out on and then another color to mount your finished R2D2 onto), glue, scissors and something to color it in with, such as crayons, colored pencils, or markers.
Alternatively, you could also just print this out onto regular printer paper and use crayons or colored pencils to color it in, much as you would a regular coloring page.
However, if you want to get a little fancier with it then be sure to print the free template out onto white cardstock (heavy weight paper also works). This will allow you to use markers, paints and/or glue without ruining your R2D2 image.
Download and print out the free R2D2 template from the link at the end of this post and begin filling it in using your choice of media – colored pencils, crayons, markers, etc. Get creative with it and have fun!
Continue filling it in until you’re happy with how it looks and then carefully cut it out.
If you want, add in glitter to any areas you want to give a little extra sparkle too! If needed, allow your R2D2 Sugar Skull to dry completely. When it’s ready, glue your R2D2 to the cardstock color you’ve chosen as your background.
Again, allow everything to dry.
Once dry, your R2D2 Sugar Skull art is complete! Put it up on display or gift it to your favorite Star Wars fan. If choosing to gift it, you can even add an inexpensive frame for an extra special touch.
