Witch Line Study Printable Activity

We are halfway through our Halloween Line Study series and have another great character to share with you all today!  Of course, the frog we shared previously is adorable, but (as my daughter would say) it wouldn’t be Halloween without a Human Witch too.  So without further ado, here is the a Witch Line Study Printable Activity!

Just as with our other line study projects, you’ll want to start by gathering up a few basic supplies:

Construction Paper (or cardstock)
Fine Tip Black Marker
Scissors
Glue
Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils
Printable Witch Template (found at the end of this post)

Focusing on one grid at a time, draw lines in each section, being careful to stay within the lines of the grid you are working on. You can use any line pattern you want or alternate the directions of straight lines, like we did.

We kept ours pretty simple, sticking with straight lines, but feel free to get as creative as you want.  Fill one section with polka-dots, another with swirls or hearts – anything you can imagine!

However, you won’t want to draw lines in any areas you want to keep white, such as the eyes, as shown above.

Keep working on each grid until you’re happy with your lines. Then grab your colors and begin coloring your witch in!

When you’re finished, cut around the edge of the template and glue your finished line study project onto black construction paper or cardstock. Or print out at half size to create unique Halloween cards.
